This weekend is the Boggy Fest – which most of us around here have known as The Mullet Festival.

The organization has dropped the “Mullet” out of the name of the event but not much else is going to be different this year.

Their big headliners this year are:

  • Trace Adkins
  • Colt Ford
  • Michael Ray
  • Jimmie Allen.

Boggy Fest kicks off this Friday at noon (rain or shine) and goes all weekend long until Sunday at 7 pm.

They will have tons of arts and crafts vendors, delicious fair food and of course, live music with 12 additional performers on top of the four headliners.

They’ll have an entire kids section call Kidpalooza with carnival games, facepainting, a karaoke contest, bounce houses and so much more.

Single day admission tickets start at $15 or you can buy a three day pass or even VIP.

“Leave it alone! The military should have a safe place to enjoy the beach. This would be a large expense for the county. Just leave it as is.”
