On Saturday, April 1, 2023, friends and family gathered to witness the swearing-in ceremony of four new members to the Fort Walton Beach City Council.

The newly elected members, Gloria DeBerry, Bryce Jeter, Larry Patrick, and Payne Walker, were sworn in by Judge Jonathan Schlechter. The new members will meet for their first city council meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2023.

  • Before this meeting, on the same day at 5:00 p.m., the City will be holding a workshop and orientation for the newly elected members, along with an update for current members, at the Council Chambers, located at 107 Miracle Strip Pkwy SW.
