Well it looks like Destin, FL is giving Fort Walton Beach a run for their money to see who can have more graffiti painted all over the city.
The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that “vandals armed with spray paint cans are defacing signs, buildings, and vehicles across the Destin area, causing eyesores and clean-up headaches for business owners.”
Of the many graffiti incidents, few have been actively reported. But deputies are finding and documenting the vandalism and making contact with businesses that have been hit with the graffiti.
I’m a big fan of graffiti (and the restaurant too), but only when done in a way that is not damaging to a business or personal property.
To me graffiti can be art and beautiful. There are so many talented graffiti artists who share and spread messages through their paint cans. Just take a look at the history of the Graffiti Bridge in Pensacola, which recently tried to get in on the Confederate Flag debate.

Street art or nah?
“Max” continues to show up on most of the graffiti
While there is no confirmation of this, “HTX” is often used when referring to Houston, Texas.
The OCSO asks anyone who sees suspicious activity to contact the agency immediately.
