Eglin Air Force Base schedules night flight operations July 28-31

The 60th Fighter Squadron will conduct night fly operations July 28-31, with aircraft missions running from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. at Eglin Air Force Base.

Residents in the area can expect to hear aircraft noise July 28-31 when the 60th Fighter Squadron conducts night flying operations.

  • Fighter aircraft will conduct missions between 8:30 and 10:30 p.m. during the four-day period. The night flying is required for training operations, according to the base.

The training flights will be limited to the two-hour window each evening during the scheduled dates.
