Emerald Coast Food Rescue will host a silent auction fundraiser on Friday, October 24 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Local Market / La Paz in Destin.

  • The event will feature items donated by local businesses, artisans and community partners. Auction offerings include artwork, quilts, handcrafted purses, specialty lace pieces, gift baskets, restaurant gift certificates and a special-edition 3D printer. New contributions are arriving daily.

Businesses supporting the auction include Dave & Buster’s, Navarre 3D Printing, Sewing and Training Center, Stitcher’s Quest, Sugar Mill, Harbor Docks, Emerald Coast Science Center, Emerald Bay Golf Club, Lilly Pulitzer and Dewey Destin’s. Local artisans contributing include Patty Roof, Angel Schauer, Bradley Copeland Studios, Mary Ellen Dimauro, Janet Kinner and Paula Jurgonski.

Attendees will receive complimentary food provided by Local Market / La Paz. A cash bar will be available.

  • Admission is free, but donations at the door are encouraged. All contributions support Emerald Coast Food Rescue’s mission to fight hunger and food waste across Okaloosa and Walton counties.

The organization, formerly known as Destin Harvest, has rescued and distributed more than 2.1 million pounds of food in 2025 to 45 local hunger-relief programs. This represents the largest annual impact in the organization’s history.
