Emerald Coast Honor Games is going down on Veteran’s Day!

Celebrate our troops with an awesome CrossFit competition.

Hey, did you know that the Emerald Coast has the third largest veteran population in the nation per capita?

Yep that’s right.

So, the Emerald Coast Honors Games is a new event this year that was started to celebrate our heroes. The event is this Saturday, November 11th and it’s going to be at Legendary Marine, which is pretty fitting considering it’s home to the “World’s largest American Flag.”

The day starts with a Ruck 22 march that morning at 9:30am. Participants are going march 22 laps around the track at Destin Middle School to help raise awareness for the fact that approximately 22 veterans per day are committing suicide. The Ruck 22 is $22 to participate.

There will also be a Crossfit Competition going down with four different events and multiple different divisions based on gender, age brackets and also ability level. If you’re thinking about participating, check out one of the event’s WODs…

It’s $250 per team to register. There will also be tons of food, drink, vendors and music for everyone to come out and enjoy even if you aren’t participating.
