On September 12-13, the 10th Annual Emerald Coast Holistic Health Expo returns to the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Convention Center, bringing together health-conscious residents with wellness professionals, practitioners, educators and businesses for a full weekend of discovery, connection and hands-on experiences. The family-friendly Expo will be open Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission and parking are free and door prizes will be given away throughout the weekend.

Presented by Natural Awakenings Northwest Florida, the Expo has grown into a highly anticipated gathering for people interested in taking a more proactive and natural approach to their and their family’s health and well-being. As people increasingly turn to the internet, social media and artificial intelligence for answers about their health, the Expo offers face-to-face conversations with real people who are experts in their field.

More than simply a vendor event, the Expo encourages attendees to experience demonstrations, samples, educational conversations, health and wellness assessments, products, technologies and presentations that allow them to explore methodologies that may be new or unknown to them.

“Bring your questions and come check out what is new and what is going on with health and wellness resources in this area,” says Daralyn Chase, publisher of Natural Awakenings Northwest Florida and co-founder of the Emerald Coast Holistic Health Expo. “Our goal has always been to create a welcoming place where people can meet trusted professionals, experience new things and connect with others who care about living healthier lives.”

Health and wellness practitioners and businesses will provide information on modalities and services such as integrative and functional medicine, fitness, nutrition, natural products, healthy lifestyle services, emerging wellness technologies and time-honored holistic practices. People at all levels of knowledge—whether lifelong enthusiasts or curious beginners—with health and wellness issues are encouraged to attend.
For many attendees, one of the most meaningful parts of the Expo is simply being surrounded by people who share an interest in natural health, conscious living and personal well-being.

“The Expo has always been about community,” Chase says. “There is something powerful about bringing hundreds of people together who are curious, open-minded and excited about taking charge of their well-being. You find resources, but you also find your tribe.”

The 10th anniversary of the Expo is not only a celebration of how much the event has grown, but also of the expanding interest in holistic and integrative approaches to health and the growth of the businesses that serve these interests.

“We’ve watched this community grow tremendously over the last decade,” Chase says. “People want to understand their local options and ask questions. They want to make informed decisions for themselves and their families. Ten years later, that mission feels more important than ever.”
