Stage Crafters Community Theatre is delighted to announce its upcoming production of Anne of Green Gables. This heartwarming stage adaptation of L.M. Montgomery’s iconic novel will transport audiences to the idyllic world of Prince Edward Island for two weekends of charm, humor, and poignant storytelling.
Performances will be held at the Fort Walton Beach Civic Auditorium, with showtimes scheduled for June 5-7 and June 12-14.
Anne of Green Gables tells the story of Anne Shirley, an imaginative, talkative, and fiercely independent orphan mistakenly sent to the elderly Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert, who had intended to adopt a boy to help them on their farm, Green Gables. Despite the initial misunderstanding, Anne’s whimsical spirit and fiery personality quickly win over the Cuthberts and the whole town of Avonlea. This production captures all the wit, pathos, and enduring lessons of the original story, celebrating the power of love, family, and finding where you truly belong.
This story resonates deeply with audiences of all ages, reminding us all to embrace the joy and wonder in everyday life.
