This is an ADVANCED class! However, this is a project you need to accomplish because you never know when the Zombie Apocalypse might happen. Call if you have questions about skill level.

We will use a railroad spike for this project. With a lot of hammer work will draw out a small bearded axe, you will then punch and drift an eye through the steel so you will have a place to attach the handle. If time permits you can make the handle using our shaving horse.

For any blacksmithing class please wear cotton or natural fabric clothing, long trousers and solid shoes or boots are required, long sleeve cotton shirt highly recommended. We supply your steel, coal, tools, working materials, gloves, eye and ear protection, plus dust masks when necessary but if you have a leather apron you might want to bring it (or purchase one from us).
