Valparaiso, Florida: On April 25, 2026, the Heritage Museum Association will be hosting its annual fundraising event “Saturday in the Park” from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM.

It is a family fun event that starts off at 8:00 AM with a 5K fun run along Boggy and Tom’s Bayous.

Registration fee for the fun run is $30 if you sign up before April 15th and $35 after April 15th.

The event will really get going at 10 AM with Eglin Air Force Base’s Honor Guard.

Perrine Park will be filled with craft vendors, demonstrations, the Walton Guard, USA 250 fun, children’s crafts, the Valparaiso Garden Club, bake sale, music, food, free admission to the museum and local band “20 West” will perform from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
