WOODPALOOZA IS BACK!
We had so much fun at our first Woodpalooza that we decided to do it again — with even more activities, demonstrations, food, games, vendors, and, naturally, wood.
Join Niceville Slabs and Cookies for Woodpalooza: A Woodworking Open House, a family-friendly, behind-the-scenes look at what happens between a tree and a table.
Explore our lumber yard and woodworking shop, meet local wood artists and makers, discover unique wood, and see what goes into turning raw lumber into everything from charcuterie boards to custom furniture.
LIVE DEMONSTRATIONS BY LOCAL WOOD ARTISTS
This isn’t just us showing off our shop. We’re bringing together local wood artists and makers to demonstrate their crafts, including:
Woodturning
Wood burning
Power carving
Epoxy art
Come watch these artists work, ask questions, see their techniques up close, and get some inspiration for your own creative projects.
PLUS LOCAL VENDORS & MAKERS
Browse a variety of local vendors and makers and discover the people, businesses, and artists creating cool things right here in our community.
AND, OF COURSE, THERE’S WOODPALOOZA FUN:
Wood Species Challenge
Guess the Board Foot
Design Your Dream Cutting Board
Woodpalooza Passport with prizes
Lumber yard and shop tours
Lumber deals — including some pieces pulled from our personal stashes
Epoxy and mold displays
Games, snacks, and prizes
Grab a Woodpalooza Passport when you arrive and travel through the shop, collecting stamps along the way. Collect four stamps to earn a prize cookie, and complete your passport for an extra raffle entry.
Whether you’re a seasoned woodworker, a maker, a DIYer, or simply wood-curious, Woodpalooza is a chance to explore the world of woodworking, meet local artists and businesses, and get a behind-the-scenes look at what happens when raw wood becomes something more.
