Firefighters with Destin Fire Rescue Engine 9 responded to a boat fire behind Clipper Cove on Okaloosa Island early Sunday morning.

According to a press release from the City of Destin, it was confirmed that no one was on board and no injuries were reported.

Multiple agencies responded to the fire to include Okaloosa Island Fire Department, Fort Walton Beach Fire Department, Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, Okaloosa County Emergency Medical Services and United States Coast Guard.

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is taking the lead on the case.
