Okaloosa County plans to recognize the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber for their “dedication and commitment” to our community during COVID-19.

Special commendation will be given to:

  • Ted Corcoran
  • Seth Luttrell
  • Rachelle Graves
  • Dayna Stinebiser
  • Chrissy Flanigan
  • Debbie Dodge

The why: The FWB Chamber staff created the “Spend Lokaloosa Campaign” to encourage the support of local businesses in Okaloosa County.

The Chamber Staff additionally implemented a campaign of information to support local businesses by teaming up with Okaloosa County as well as member businesses in the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce.

Together, they were able to script, create, produce and distribute videos on how to apply for PPP, SBA Disaster Loans.

“They have worked tirelessly to support our local community, including but not limited to conducting Town Hall meetings to be an information conduit of COVID-19 related issues and information, a food drive at NWF Fairgrounds, organizing truckloads of food and volunteers to package and distribute food to those in our community in need during the pandemic,” wrote the county in a memo.

The Board of County Commissioners will vote on his Proclamation on Tuesday
