FWB Chamber of Commerce to host ‘Military Family Appreciation Day’ on Nov. 1 at The Landing

The free event at The Landing Park will feature live entertainment, children's activities and booths from military and veteran service organizations.

The Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce will host Military Family Appreciation Day on November 1, offering the community a free celebration honoring local military families and veterans.

  • The event, presented by Eglin Federal Credit Union, will run from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at The Landing Park, 139 Brooks Street SE.

The family-friendly celebration will feature live entertainment, children’s activities and booths from military and veteran service organizations. The Chamber’s Military Affairs Committee is organizing the event to provide a day of connection and appreciation for the region’s military community.

“Military Family Appreciation Day is one of our community’s most heartfelt traditions,” said Rachelle Graves, director of special events for the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce. “It brings residents, businesses, and visitors together to recognize the strength and sacrifice of military families and veterans who do so much for our area.”

Vendors and sponsors are welcome to participate in the event.
