On Monday morning, Half Shell Oyster House in Destin, Fl. announce that the restaurant was permanently closed. This was their last weekend open.

“We are disheartened to announce that after three years in the wonderful community of Destin, FL we are closing our doors for good,” the company wrote in a Facebook post.

While the restaurant said they did their best to pivot with the demands that COVID-19 has put on many businesses, ultimately they could no longer operate under the strain.

“We are so thankful to our staff, regulars, visitors, and community partners that have made our experience here so memorable. We will truly miss our Destin community. All we ask is that you please continue to support your local restaurants.”
