Our favorite surfer/reggae band, Heritage, is currently on their West Coast tour and did a little cover of Sublime’s “Santeria”.

The band was playing at Backyard Kitchen & Tap for the restaurant’s Acoustic Wednesdays. The lyrics to the part of the song captured on video are:

“And I won’t think twice to stick that barrel straight down Sancho’s throat.
Believe me when I say that I got somethin’ for his punk ass.
What I really wanna know, mah baby.
Oh, what I really wanna say is there’s just one, way back, and I’ll make it, yeah.

Heritage continues their West Coast tour and will wrap it up at the end of September.

“Santeria” was featured on Sublime’s 1996 album Sublime, and was released as a single on January 7, 1997.
