The Walton County Sheriff’s Office announced that U.S. Highway 331 to the Alabama State Line is now closed due to flooding.

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office announced that U.S. Highway 331 to the Alabama State Line is now closed due to flooding.

“This storm will continue to cause widespread flooding and debris that will impede roadways across Walton County,” said the WCSO. “Deputies are continuing to monitor conditions and verify closures with Walton County Emergency Management.”

“No one should be on the roads right now in Walton County,” continued WCSO. “Conditions during Hurricane Sally are very dangerous and there is widespread flooding on roadways. Please stay inside and off the roads unless there is an emergency.”
