Hurlburt Field’s main gate closed due to flooding

The Main Gate at the intersection of Highway 98 and Cody Ave has been temporarily closed.

On Friday afternoon, Hurlburt Field announced that due to flooding, the Main Gate at the intersection of Highway 98 and Cody Ave has been temporarily closed.

According to a statement from Hurlburt Field, all traffic will be directed to the East Gate. Officials are asking everyone to please avoid the area and use caution.

They are also reminding motorists to not drive through standing water.
