Island Hotel launches “Self Care for Healthcare” special rate for healthcare employees

The Island wants to show those on the frontline some love, and now offers a special rate for healthcare workers to take a self care vacation on the Emerald Coast.

The Island Hotel wants healthcare professionals to experience self care and sunshine at their resort in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The Island recently completed a $15+ million property-wide renovation and features a Grotto pool and swim-up bar, over 600 feet of private beach, heated pool, and so much more.

Guests of the resort can also enjoy other family-friendly activities including DJ pool parties, children’s games and activities, and sunset live music sessions by the beach.

“COVID-19 has presented our healthcare professionals with a challenging year, and our team wanted to thank them for all their hard work.” said Cesar Serna, General Manager of The Island. “We wanted to be able to provide a little Vitamin D by the sea for the healthcare professionals on the frontlines.”

The Island has created a “Self Care for Healthcare” special rate for healthcare professionals for their dedication and hard work over the last year.

The special rate includes:

  • 25% off the booked stay (using code Local6)
  • $25.00 food and beverage credit
  • A thank you gift from The Island.
  • The special rate is available Sunday through Thursday throughout 2021.
