This holiday season, Cox Communications is promoting its Cox Mobile phone plans as a way for families to stay connected across generations.

  • “The holidays are about connecting with friends and loved ones we don’t see every day,” said Cam Johnson, manager of government and public affairs for Cox. “Staying in touch is more important than ever, especially for older adults who may be limited due to mobility issues or distance from loved ones.”

Cox Mobile offers flexible data plans to meet different needs and budgets. The Pay As You Gig plan charges $15 per 1GB used per month, with options to add more gigabytes as needed, while the Gig Unlimited plan offers unlimited data for $45 per month.

The plans are designed to appeal to both older adults and tech-savvy young people. “For older adults that want a mobile device with straightforward pricing that makes it easy to stay in touch with loved ones this holiday season, Cox Mobile delivers,” Johnson said.

At the same time, Cox Mobile offers the latest devices like iPhones and Samsung Galaxy phones packed with features, apps and speed to satisfy Gen Zers.

  • “When Cox Mobile launched, affordability and simplicity were top of mind when building a mobile solution older adult subscribers would appreciate,” Johnson added.

With many seniors living on a fixed income, Cox promotes low-cost home internet through its Connect2Compete program and the federal Affordable Connectivity Program, which offers eligible households a $30 monthly discount (or $75 on Tribal Lands) to access high-speed, affordable internet.

“Let Cox Mobile be your one-stop shop for keeping loved ones connected this holiday season,” Johnson said.

Customers interested in learning more about Cox Mobile can visit their nearest Cox retail store, go directly to www.cox.com/mobile, or give them a call at 1-800-234-3993.
