LiveOak Fiber has activated its high-speed fiber-optic network across several new communities along Florida’s Emerald Coast, the company announced Monday.

  • The expansion brings advanced internet connectivity to Deer Lake, Destin, Grayton Beach, Miramar Beach, Laguna Beach, Seagrove, and Sunnyside, with more areas scheduled for activation in coming weeks.

“This latest network expansion is a testament to our dedication to serving communities that have long been overlooked in terms of broadband infrastructure,” said Steve Smith, Chief Revenue Officer for LiveOak Fiber.

The company says its service offers speeds up to 100 times faster than traditional broadband offerings, providing connectivity for streaming, gaming, and business operations.

  • The regional broadband provider has already deployed thousands of miles of fiber infrastructure throughout the Southeast, focusing on bridging the digital divide in underserved areas.

LiveOak Fiber plans to announce additional service zones along the Emerald Coast in the near future, continuing its mission to expand high-speed internet access across the region.
