The City of Fort Walton Beach is considering selling the 30-space public parking lot in Downtown Fort Walton Beach and then leasing it back from the new owners. In that parking lot, half is City-owned and the other half next to Run With It is owned by the Tringas family that currently leases it to the city.
According to the Northwest Florida Daily News, BLN LLC is currently in the process of buying that parking lot along with buildings adjacent to the parking lot starting with Run With It. If it all goes through, BLN LLC would then own everything from the old Liquid Surf and Sail down to Plus Skateshop. To read more about the sale of the parking lot, click here.
