To: Daily Rundown Readers

After 30 years, and a heated discussion, the Old Florida Fish House’s iconic 30a sign is being forced to be taken down. According to MyPanhandle.com, the placement of the sign is currently a code violation since it is in the right of way. During a Walton County Commission meeting, the owner asked the Board to consider allowing the old restaurant’s sign to remain in the current position. His request was denied. Body marbling comes to Destin

Ever heard of body marbling? If you been to any festival in the last few years then you have probably seen it. Body marbling is a painting process in which paint is floated on water and transferred to a person’s skin. The painting is temporary and can be removed by washing. Matt Moore of Diptek (And Heritage Band) is bringing this art form to Destin.

In an interview with The Destin Log, Moore plans to bring Diptek to local festivals this fall and eventually have a booth on the harbor in Destin. You’ll be able to find him at the Northwest Florida Fair, Destin Seafood Festival & the Boggy Bayou Mullet Festival. To read more on Diptek, click here.
