Navarre family displaced after fire, Hammerhead at Crab Island, Drunk driver sentenced to life

To: Daily Rundown Readers

A Navarre family has been displaced after their home went up in flames Monday after being struck by lightening in that awful storm. Thankfully no one was home during the fire and the Red Cross is helping the family out with housing for the next few days. Derek Pigulski, a Realtor at World Impact Real Estate and Navarre resident, has set up a fundraiser to try and help out the family during this time.

The “Navarre Family House Fire Recovery Fund” is trying to raise $5,000. As of this morning, they are just shy of $1,000 already! On the donation page Derek writes, “As a community it is important to support one another, especially in times of need. Mr. Schumpter is a fireman locally right here in Navarre, and he deserves the community’s help. Please join me in donating to help him, his wife, and their 15 year old daughter recover from their house fire.”
