The paramedics and emergency medical technicians of the Okaloosa County Emergency Medical Services Division voted on Thursday, August 29th, to unionize.

According to a press release from Okaloosa County, the Board of Commissioners looks forward to working with representatives of the union “as they bargain collectively in good faith for their benefits in the near future.”

“Maintaining outstanding emergency medical services will continue to be the goal of the Okaloosa County Board of County Commissioners as we enter this new relationship with the members of the new union.”
