With the expected tropical storm headed for our area, the Okaloosa County School District gave an update regarding school on Friday as well as after school activities.

In a Facebook, the District wrote:

“After consultation with Okaloosa County Emergency Management personnel and the National Weather Service, Okaloosa Schools will be in session on Friday. In expectation of deteriorating conditions Friday evening, all extracurricular activities for Friday after school and Saturday are cancelled. We will continue to monitor weather conditions and provide updates through callout to parents and through social media should the need arise.”
