One-hour power outage planned for parts of Destin tonight

FPL scheduled a one-hour maintenance power outage from midnight to 1 a.m. Thursday affecting residents from Marler Bridge to Henderson State Park.

Florida Power & Light will have a planned power outage that will affect approximately 9,500 Destin residents early Thursday morning, according to the city of Destin.

  • The scheduled maintenance outage will occur from midnight until 1 a.m. on November 21, impacting customers in an area extending from Marler Bridge to Henderson State Park.

The City of Destin released the announcement Wednesday afternoon. Residents with questions are directed to contact FPL directly.
