Origin Bank has opened its first financial center in Fort Walton Beach, advancing the company’s Southeast market presence.

  • The new location at 212 Racetrack Road NW currently operates from a temporary building with drive-thru services while work progresses on a permanent facility at the same address. The permanent location is expected to open in early 2026.

“We’re thrilled to expand our services and to share Origin’s award-winning culture with Fort Walton Beach,” said Robin Donlon, Origin’s Florida Panhandle Market Leader. “Our experienced team has cultivated great relationships throughout the community, and we look forward to extending the outstanding service Origin is known for to our clients here in the Panhandle.”

The local branch is led by Bank Center Manager Gwen Stephenson and is staffed by a veteran team of bankers. The location offers complete personal and business financial services, including retail banking, commercial lending and treasury management.

In addition, the team has added Kim Cox, who brings over 45 years of experience as a banker and community leader in Okaloosa County to her new position as Commercial Relationship Manager.

  • Cox currently serves on multiple local boards to include United Way Emerald Coast, Habitat for Humanity Okaloosa County, and the Okaloosa Public Schools Foundation. She is also a current member of the Emerald Coast Military Affairs Council.

This expansion follows the bank’s long-term growth strategy into South Alabama and the Florida Panhandle that was announced early last year.

Drive-thru banking and appointments are available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
