The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a school threat that written on a wall in the boys bathroom at Choctawhatchee High today.

The threat was found by a student and “general in nature” and not directed towards any specific individual.

According to a press release from the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, standard additional precautionary procedures are in place.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the OCSO at 850-651-7400 or Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers at 850-863-TIPS, EmeraldCoastCrimeStoppers.com, or by texting the P3 Tips Mobile application.

Parents and students need to keep in mind that such threats are second degree felonies and anyone found responsible will be charged accordingly.
