Superintendent of Okaloosa County Schools Marcus Chambers to announce campaign kickoff with Rep. Matt Gaetz

On Tuesday, October 8th, Superintendent of Okaloosa County Schools Marcus Chambers will announce his candidacy for the Okaloosa County Schools Superintendent’s race in Niceville, Florida, with Congressman Matt Gaetz (FL-01).  

Superintendent Chambers was originally appointed to the position of Okaloosa County Superintendent of Schools in January 2019 by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. He will be seeking election to the Superintendent position he was appointed to in 2019.  Currently, he will campaigning against Ray Sansom for the position. 

The event is open to the public and press. Details for the event can be found below.
