Traffic on I-10 is being routed through Crestview. Major delays should be expected, according to the City of Crestview.

All eastbound traffic on I-10 is being diverted north on State Road 85 (Ferdon Boulevard). The detour continues north through Crestview towards Laurel Hill where traffic is being re-routed toward 331 and then back south to DeFuniak Springs.

Once in DeFuniak Springs, traffic is being rerouted back to I-10. Westbound I-10 traffic is being diverted south on Highway 285 in Walton County.

“Residents are encouraged to avoid Highway 85 as many areas are at a stand-still due to the significant influx of interstate travelers detouring through Crestview,” said the city in a press release. “As flooding waterways continue to rise, many area bridges are closed or are being monitored for closure in the near future.
