I don’t think many people know about this, but Starbucks is now proudly served on the first floor of The Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island.

Islanders Oasis is the newest store and is located in the old Lobster Tail location. If the name sounds somewhat familiar, it’s because it’s from the same company as Islanders Coastal Outfitters (located upstairs).

The Oasis is kind of a hybrid beach store along with a coffee café that includes a full line-up of Starbucks products. While it’s not an official Starbucks locations, the company does work hand-in-hand with Starbucks.

“We thought about, “What can we do to make it an experience?”, said John Hambleton, found of The Oasis. “And we included, in that, our thought that coffee would be a niche that people can’t get on The Island. So we contacted Starbucks, and sure enough, we were able to negotiate an arrangement with them. We have literally 95% of the entire Starbucks menu. We receive Starbucks training, we use Starbucks equipment, and we only use Starbucks products for the coffee and teas.”

On the food side, The Oasis carries Bagelheads Bagels, S’well pops, Otis Spunkmeyer cookies, and homemade scones.

At the store portion of the Oasis, they have most everything you need for the beach. From shirts, sunscreen, hats, etc. But they also include name brands like Tormenter Swimwear, Chubbies, Reef sandals, Billabong and more.

To follow The Oasis, check them out on Facebook and Instagram.
