7 Brew held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new drive-thru coffee stand at 799 Beal Parkway and presented a $4,661.89 donation to Healing Hoof Steps, an organization that provides equine-assisted services.

  • The Fort Walton Beach location is the company’s newest stand in Florida, according to an Oct. 20 news release from 7 Brew. It is also the second location in Fort Walton Beach.

“We’re so excited to join the Fort Walton Beach community and show them what 7 Brew is all about,” said Emma Dewitt, director of field marketing for 7 Crew Enterprises LLC. “Through our partnership with Healing Hoof Steps, our main goal is to showcase 7 Brew’s mission to cultivate kindness and give back to the surrounding community.”

The money was raised during Caffeine for a Cause, a donation event the Fort Walton Beach stand hosted Oct. 11-18. Customers could try a limited 7 Brew menu and “pay what they want” as a donation to Healing Hoof Steps.

Representatives from Healing Hoof Steps attended the ribbon cutting to receive the donation and share remarks about the organization’s work.

“At Healing Hoof Steps, we see firsthand the life-changing impact horses can have on those facing physical, emotional and mental health challenges,” said Mistie Zuromski, board secretary for Healing Hoof Steps. “Every dollar raised helps us continue providing meaningful equine-assisted services to veterans, first responders, children, and others in our community.”

  • Zuromski added, “This partnership is about so much more than coffee. It’s about neighbors coming together to make a difference, one cup and one hoof step at a time. We are truly grateful to 7 Brew for supporting our mission!”

The stand officially opened Oct. 19. It will host Swag Day on Saturday, Oct. 24, when customers who buy a large drink will receive a free 7 Brew T-shirt.

Regular hours are 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The stand will add 75 jobs in the Fort Walton Beach area.
