The Emerald Coast Rodeo will return to Northwest Florida State College’s Niceville campus for two nights of competition Friday, Nov. 6, and Saturday, Nov. 7, the college announced Monday.
- Now in its fourth year, the signature fall tradition on campus features professional rodeo competitors in bull riding, barrel racing, roping and other rodeo events.
The Professional Cowboys Association named the Emerald Coast Rodeo Best Rodeo in Its Division for 2025, recognizing the event for excellence in event execution, community engagement and professional rodeo presentation.
“We are proud to bring an award-winning event to our campus that celebrates community, creates lasting memories for families and welcomes visitors from across the Emerald Coast to experience Northwest Florida State College,” said NWFSC President Mel Ponder.
The college said the rodeo draws families and visitors from across the region and brings together local businesses, organizations and residents.
General admission tickets cost $20 and will increase to $25 during the week of the rodeo. Children younger than 3 are admitted free. The college is strongly encouraging advance ticket purchases, noting that last year’s event sold out.
- The rodeo will be held rain or shine, and all ticket sales are final.
Both nights follow the same schedule. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., Mutton Bustin’ begins at 6:30 p.m. and the rodeo starts at 7:30 p.m.
The college is located at 100 College Blvd. E. in Niceville.
