Construction Junction will be returning to the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Fairgrounds from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2026. This free event promises fun for all ages.
Hosted by the Fort Walton Beach Police Department, Construction Junction is a hands-on experience for the young and young at heart. From massive construction equipment to law enforcement vehicles and demonstrations, there’s something for everyone to explore. Kids can climb, touch, and learn while meeting the professionals who build, protect, and serve our community.
We’ll have a visit by a medical evacuation helicopter and a demonstration from K-9 law enforcement team. The first hour of the event will be sensory-friendly, with no horns, sirens, or other loud noises. There will be food and drink trucks on site, and there will be a raffle with a variety of prizes.
