High schools across Okaloosa County held preseason games on Friday, giving fans a possible glimpse of the upcoming 2023 season. Here’s a quick look at the results.

  • The Choctawhatchee Indians beat the Gulf Breeze High School Dolphins 56-28 on Friday night.
  • The Niceville Eagles trounced the Bay High School Tornadoes 73-14 on Friday.
  • In a low-scoring affair, the Escambia High School Gators edged the Crestview Bulldogs 14-0 on Thursday night.
  • The Munroe Day School Bobcats defeated the Destin High School Sharks 28-3 on Friday.
  • Walton High School defeated the Fort Walton Beach High School Vikings 21-0 at home on Friday night.
