Drivers along Highway 85 and State Road 123 should plan alternate routes next week as Eglin Air Force Base conducts testing that will require road closures.
- The 96th Test Wing announced Wednesday that testing at the Eglin Test Complex on May 20 will close both highways between 9 a.m. and noon.
According to the announcement, the roads should not be closed for more than 90 minutes at a time, though there may be several closure periods within the three-hour window.
A backup mission date has been scheduled for May 22, also between 9 a.m. and noon, if needed.
