While most of us might not be writing a check for a beach house this week, if you’re anything like us, we love to scroll through and check them out for inspiration in either our current home or for a home in the future.

  • …and South Walton’s newest high-end listings make for good scrolling.

For our first luxury edition of Hot Listings, we picked five homes in Miramar Beach, Santa Rosa Beach and Inlet Beach that hit the market this week ranging from $2,380,000 to $8,450,000.

Each one has something you might not see very often: a coastal dune lake out back, a four-story floor plan, French limestone floors or a private walkover to the Gulf. Here’s what caught our eye.

1145 Troon Drive, Miramar Beach, FL 32550

What’s to Love: This Craftsman-style home backs up to the 18th hole of the Raven Golf Course, with 158 feet on the water and a private dock. The first-floor primary suite has a sitting area, a whirlpool tub and a dressing area.

Notable Features: 5 bedrooms, 4 full and 2 half bathrooms, 3,061 square feet, 0.43-acre lot on a dead-end street, gated community with golf, tennis, a marina, a fitness center and beach access, near the Raven and Baytowne golf clubhouse, private dock, first-floor primary suite with separate shower and walk-in closet, den, gas fireplace, open patio, attached garage, built in 2014, $589 quarterly HOA.

95 Shannon Drive, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459

What’s to Love: This home sits on Eastern Lake, one of Walton County’s coastal dune lakes, a type of lake found in only a handful of places in the world. Out back are a heated pool, covered and open decks and a dock.
