Inaugural Destin Songwriter Festival set for October 10–11

The inaugural two-day event will feature award-winning artists and free performances along the harbor waterfront.

A new music festival celebrating songwriters and their craft will debut along Destin Harbor this fall, bringing award-winning performers to the area for a two-day event.

  • The inaugural Destin Songwriter Festival is scheduled for October 10-11, 2025, featuring free live performances at multiple waterfront venues along the harbor. The festival will offer intimate experiences with rising stars and established songwriting talent against the backdrop of Destin’s harbor.

A ticketed Main Stage area at 314 Harbor Blvd will host headliner performances each night, with both general admission and VIP options available. The Main Stage will feature premium production, food vendors and bars for ticket holders.

Headlining artists include James Otto, Kent Blazy and Andy Griggs. Supporting performers include Jessie G, Justin Holmes, Matt Wynn and Justin Andrews.

  • The festival will support Operation Song, a 501(c)(3) organization that helps veterans, active-duty military members and their families tell their stories through songwriting. Operation Song will lead the headlining round on Friday, October 10, with a portion of festival proceeds benefiting the organization.

Festival organizers describe the event as a curated coastal experience where audiences can learn the stories behind songs in one of Florida’s scenic waterfront settings.
