Major David Allen with the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office has graduated from the FBI National Academy, Class 295, after 10 weeks of training at Quantico, Virginia.
- The sheriff’s office celebrated Allen’s achievement last week, with Undersheriff Charlie Nix traveling to represent the department at the graduation ceremony.
Allen spent 10 weeks training with law enforcement leaders from around the world, sharpening leadership skills he plans to bring back to strengthen the OCSO team and community. He also built networking connections with other law enforcement professionals.
One major challenge Allen conquered was the Yellow Brick Road — what the department calls “a grueling 6.1-mile endurance and obstacle course that caps off the academy’s physical training program.”
- “Major Allen crushed it!” the department said in its social media post.
The sheriff’s office said it’s “incredibly proud of his hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence.”
