Okaloosa County School District to hold bus driver job fair at Crestview High School

The Okaloosa County School District is seeking to fill bus driver positions with financial incentives up to $2,400 for qualified candidates.

The Okaloosa County School District will host a Bus Driver Job Fair on Saturday, November 15, from 9 a.m. to noon at Crestview High School, located at 1250 N Ferdon Boulevard. 

  • Attendees can test-drive a school bus before applying, meet with Human Resources staff for on-site application assistance and learn about paid training opportunities to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License.

The district is offering hiring bonuses to attract new drivers. New drivers with a valid CDL will receive a $2,400 hiring bonus, while new hires without a CDL will receive a $2,000 hiring bonus. The bonuses are paid out in increments.

The district encourages interested individuals to attend the fair, explore the benefits of joining the OCSD transportation team and apply on-site.
