Okaloosa deputies investigating concrete, eggs thrown at commercial vehicles from I-10 overpass

Three commercial vehicles struck by concrete and eggs thrown from Wilkerson Bluff overpass on Interstate 10 near Holt early Wednesday morning.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after someone reportedly threw concrete pieces and eggs from an overpass along Interstate 10 near Holt, damaging several commercial vehicles and causing minor injuries to a passenger.

  • Three commercial vehicles traveling on Interstate 10 were struck by the objects thrown from the Wilkerson Bluff overpass around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to deputies.

One passenger suffered minor injuries in the incident, but no one required medical treatment, the sheriff’s office said.

Deputies described the activity as extremely dangerous.
