Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort has launched three signature beers in partnership with Props Craft Brewery and Lewis Bear Company.

  • The custom-crafted lineup includes a crisp lager designed for beach days, a smooth blonde ale and a bold India Pale Ale. The beers are now available across multiple resort venues, including Marina Bar & Grill, The Lobby Bar, Ara Rooftop, Ovide, Fat Tuesday and beverage carts at the resort’s golf courses.

“As Sandestin Investments expands its footprint on a global scale, we remain deeply committed to our local roots,” said Melissa Watson, executive director of marketing and communications for Sandestin Investments. “Our partnerships with regional makers like Props Craft Brewery reflect our belief that the most meaningful growth begins in our own backyard. Collaborations like these not only elevate the guest experience but also celebrate the strength of our community and showcase our area to those who are visiting.”

The resort will celebrate the beer launch during the Sandestin Beer Festival, scheduled for October 9-12. The festival will feature massive inflatable beer cans, smoked pig with beer-basted barbecue sauces, football viewing, giant yard games, beer stein competitions, welcome tastings at check-in and a group toast over the Baytowne Wharf loudspeakers.

  • The celebration begins with a beer dinner at Burnt Pine Country Club on Thursday, October 9. The intimate event will feature a multi-course meal paired with the new Sandestin beers and include a “meet the brewer” session with the Props team.

Props Craft Brewery’s team consists of former Air Force pilots who transitioned into brewing. The partnership with Lewis Bear Company, a regional distributor, ensures wider availability across the Emerald Coast.

“At Sandestin, we are passionate about crafting memorable guest experiences,” said Vasil Penchev, executive director of food and beverage. “Our Food & Beverage team is continuously evolving — this partnership with Props is another way we’re raising the bar for culinary and beverage excellence.”

The beers are also available at additional resort locations including Bayside Cafe, The Beach Club and the beverage service at The Links, Baytowne and Raven golf courses. The resort indicated this beer line represents the beginning of an expanded beverage program.

Custom beer-focused group experiences and event packages are available for corporate groups, weddings and special events, taking advantage of the resort’s 85,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space.
