The Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island will host its 10th Annual Tricks & Treasures Halloween celebration on October 31 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., offering families a safe environment for trick-or-treating and entertainment.

  • The free event will feature live entertainment, carnival games, costume contests and a treasure map activity for participants. Families can pick up treasure maps at the main entrance, collect stamps at various locations and return completed maps to The Crab Trap restaurant for a special treat.

Entertainment will include stilt-walkers, balloon artists and pirate-themed activities throughout the evening. The celebration will conclude with an outdoor screening of the Halloween movie “Hocus Pocus” on a large screen after the main festivities end at 8 p.m.

The annual event has become a tradition for families visiting Okaloosa Island during Halloween, providing an alternative to traditional neighborhood trick-or-treating. The Boardwalk’s businesses participate by distributing candy and hosting activities for children in costume.
