This week, I asked readers on social to tell me what their favorite go-to local restaurant for a family dinner is. I’d love to hear from you too on this.

My wife and two girls, along with a family friend, have been patronizing the Filipino Buffet on John Sims Pkwy in Valp for a long time now, but I ate there for the first time last month. Excellent food and good variety at an affordable price now makes it my neighborhood go-to. Turns out that the owner is a friend of my wife’s. Had nothing to do with my picking. Try it and I’m sure you’ll agree. Note: the restaurant is open only for lunch 11-2 (or 3). The adjacent store is open normal hours.
Our go to is Hill Monkeys on Main Street in Crestview or Hot Kimchi on Ferdon.
We are a family of 5 and don’t go out to eat often, but when we do, Pedro’s on Mary Esther Cutoff is where we go! The food is great (good portions) and it’s affordable. It’s a large restaurant, plenty of parking and we’ve never had to wait.
In Niceville; Brothers near BWB on HWY 20
We live in Destin. The Donut Hole is #1 for us.
