What is your go-to local restaurant in Okaloosa County for family dinner?

This week, I asked readers on social to tell me what their favorite go-to local restaurant for a family dinner is. I’d love to hear from you too on this.

  1. My wife and two girls, along with a family friend, have been patronizing the Filipino Buffet on John Sims Pkwy in Valp for a long time now, but I ate there for the first time last month. Excellent food and good variety at an affordable price now makes it my neighborhood go-to. Turns out that the owner is a friend of my wife’s. Had nothing to do with my picking. Try it and I’m sure you’ll agree. Note: the restaurant is open only for lunch 11-2 (or 3). The adjacent store is open normal hours.

  2. We are a family of 5 and don’t go out to eat often, but when we do, Pedro’s on Mary Esther Cutoff is where we go! The food is great (good portions) and it’s affordable. It’s a large restaurant, plenty of parking and we’ve never had to wait.

  3. So many great places in FWB and Destin. Our Go To is Tradewinds in Niceville. Back ups are Craft Bar and Twisted Grape.
