The Market Shops has canceled the 11th Annual Bloody Mary Festival, which was scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 10, because of anticipated weather conditions and the state of emergency declared for the area this weekend.
- The Market Shops announced the cancellation Wednesday, saying organizers made the decision after closely monitoring the forecast and considering the conditions expected throughout the weekend.
Organizers called it a difficult decision and said the safety of attendees, vendors, sponsors, volunteers and staff remains the top priority.
Ticket holders will receive additional information about ticket options and refunds directly from event organizers, according to the announcement.
Organizers thanked the event’s sponsors, participating restaurants and vendors, volunteers, judges and attendees for their continued support and understanding.
The Bloody Mary Festival will return to The Market Shops on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2027. Organizers said they look forward to bringing the community back together for another year of Bloody Marys, local food and live entertainment in support of Habitat for Humanity of Walton County.
