The City of Crestview will host a grand opening ceremony next month for Vineyard Village, a new 14-unit apartment complex designed to provide housing for low to moderate-income families.

  • The ceremony will take place on Friday, November 14, at noon at the complex’s location at 225 W Field Ave. in Crestview. The public is invited to attend.

The development was built on 1.4 acres of city-owned land through a partnership between the City of Crestview, Gregg Chapel A.M.E. Church and the Florida Department of Commerce.

“By partnering with Gregg Chapel A.M.E. Church and the Florida Department of Commerce, we’ve turned a shared vision into a lasting investment in our community,” said Crestview City Manager Jessica Leavins.

Rev. Cecil Williams, pastor of Gregg Chapel A.M.E. Church, expressed appreciation for the collaborative effort.

“I personally want to extend my gratitude to each and every one for making this vision a reality. It is through these types of efforts that lives are changed forever,” Williams said.
