Deputies investigate armed home invasion on Pilgrim Avenue near Fort Walton Beach

The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office says two masked suspects entered a Pilgrim Avenue residence late Sunday, demanded property and fled before deputies arrived on scene.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed home invasion robbery that occurred late Sunday night at a residence on Pilgrim Avenue near Fort Walton Beach.

  • Deputies responded to the home after receiving a report of suspects inside, according to the sheriff’s office. Multiple occupants were safely located at the scene, and no life-threatening injuries were reported.

Preliminary information indicates two masked suspects entered the residence, demanded property and fled the area before deputies arrived, the sheriff’s office said. Investigators are working to determine the suspects’ identities and gather evidence related to the case.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
