The Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center is collecting toy donations at its Niceville and DeFuniak Springs locations to stock toy rooms where families and agency partners can shop for children this holiday season.

• ECCAC has outlined specific wish lists organized by age groups, ranging from infants to teenagers, to help donors select appropriate gifts. 

For the youngest children, ages 0-4, ECCAC is requesting soft books, Fisher-Price toys, large puzzles, Play-Doh, stuffed animals, bubbles, outside chalk, coloring books, crayons, finger paint, push ride toys, dump trucks, fire trucks, kitchen sets, easel and paint sets, large activity packets and books.

Children ages 5-8 would benefit from action figures, Barbie dolls, baby doll sets, Legos, Matchbox cars, monster trucks, bikes, scooters, balls, slime, activity sets, kitchen sets, dinosaurs, board games, outdoor playsets, bracelet-making kits, remote control cars with batteries, basketballs, footballs, soccer balls, LOL dolls, dress-up kits, arts and crafts kits, Roblox items and gift cards. 

The wish list for ages 9-11 includes bikes, scooters, balls, kid makeup sets, LOL dolls, Monster High dolls, remote control cars, Nerf guns, science kits, paint sets, anime items, books, board games, costume jewelry, bracelet-making sets, mini brands, model car kits, Lego kits, pop its and slime-making kits.

For preteen ages 12-14, ECCAC is seeking bikes, scooters, makeup, Nerf guns, gift cards to retailers including Five Below, fast food restaurants, Walmart, Nike, Hibbett Sports, Target and PlayStation, along with ring lights, headphones, chargers, hoodies, card games, anime items, books, Bluetooth speakers, jewelry sets, sports water bottles, crossbody purses and digital cameras.

Teenagers ages 15-18 can use perfume sets, lotions and bath soap sets, cologne, makeup, flat irons, blow dryers, curling irons, headphones, chargers, hoodies, workout gear, gift cards to retailers such as Ulta, Five Below, Bass Pro Shop, Taco Bell, pizza restaurants, Walmart, Playstation, McDonald’s, DoorDash, Nike, Hibbett Sports and Target, as well as wallets, purses, facial care items, nail kits and polish, sports water bottles, gaming headphones, light-up gaming keyboard and mouse sets, Amazon gift cards, sports bags and mini-fridges.

The organization is accepting donations at two locations: the Julie Sacco Porterfield Children’s Advocacy Center at 401 McEwen in Niceville and the Pierce Family ECCAC at 336 College Ave. in DeFuniak Springs.
